The Clift is our easier-fitting five-pocket silhouette, named for Montgomery Clift, one of the first to popularize jeans for the everyman. Just like our Slim Straights, the shape riffs on two longtime favorite jeans — think slightly more tapered Levi's 501®s and a slightly higher-rise APC New Standards — but this time with extra room all around for guys with a bit more natural ballast. (There's even enough space at the leg openings to fit over a pair of cowboy boots.)
