Story of Newton James
Newton James is more than just a name—it’s a tribute to my grandfather, Newton James Bigham, a man known for his classic, timeless style. Although he passed in 1955, long before we could meet, the photos of him I’ve seen speak volumes about elegance and character.
Our logo, featuring four swan heads, tells another layer of the story. Inspired by my last name, Denham, it subtly incorporates the legacy of the Denham family crest, which includes swans. This personal touch connects our brand to a history of heritage and refinement.
Newton James was born out of a long-held dream: to create a menswear boutique that embodies the highest quality and style—elevated, yet accessible. While true luxury has its price, we strive to make it attainable by carefully curating brands that excel in both craftsmanship and timeless design.
